Matt Mancini
BIO: You may know Matt from his work with the Phoenix VMware Users Group. Matt served as the VMUG leader and Advisory board member from 2008-2010. Under his leadership the Phoenix VMUG team grew the group from a mere 50 to over 800 members. Technical Group involvement has been his passion, in fact he has been involved with Technical groups since the 1980′s . Currently Matt works for VMware as a TAM and has worked for several companies throughout the Phoenix valley (John C. Lincoln, Apollo Group, Arizona Supreme Court, MicroAge, US Food Service). Matt has been in the IT Business since 1988, is certified on several technologies (VCP, MCSE, A+), and has been a resident of Arizona for 20 years. Originally from Ohio, Matt grew up in Nebraska, and in 1989 moved to Arizona where he attended DeVry. In his free time Matt enjoys 4 Wheeling around Arizona, playing Super Twin Cobra, and spending time with his family.
Current Environment: My Home Lab – Workstation with IOMega Ix-4, though I support companies with VMware deployed world wide.

Eric Fitch
BIO: Eric currently manages all activities and operation of a small corporate data center supporting Tectura’s global workforce. Being Microsoft’s largest partner in the Business Solutions/ERP arena, Tectura heavily utilizes most Microsoft technologies. Eric’s technical interests and focus are data center operations, storage, networking, and server virtualization. He has worked in IT since before the days of Windows 95, tackling duties ranging from help desk and server administration to email administration. He entertained a 4-year career detour, teaching Elementary Computers and Junior High Science. Eric is a Colorado native and a graduate of Loyola Maymount University’s Business Administration program. He has lived in Phoenix for 18 years. When not tending to the data center, Eric enjoys anything outdoors! Especially spending time with his family, biking, hiking, and hopefully hitting the ski slopes more often.
Current Environment: Hyper-V clusters and VMware ESXi for server virtualization. Eighty HP rack mount servers and over 200 Hyper-V VMs. EMC CLARiiON and HP MSA storage. Cisco networking.

Jason Yarberry
BIO:Jason is an IT professional with 16 years experience. He is currently with
a large mortgage servicing company as the Systems Administrator, managing
the virtualization infrastructure and Window environment. His IT career has
encompassed supporting home décor, custom manufacturing, Application
Service Providers, insurance brokers and small businesses.

Earl Hinkle
BIO: Earl has been working in the information technology field since 1992 when he started working as an
Electronics Technician for the U.S Navy and picked up various ADP collateral duties. After spending 10
wonderful years in the Navy, Earl started teaching information technology courses, such as windows
NT4, 2000, A+, N+, at a CTEC in San Diego, CA called Microskills. After doing that for about a year and
a half Earl moved to sunny Phoenix Arizona, where he has resided for the last 10 years. In Phoenix,
he started out as PC/LAN administrator and then promoted up to a Technology Support supervisor
for Maricopa County where he oversee the data center for 6 Departments. His current environment
consists of 3 dispersed server rooms were he support 10 ESX 3.5 -4.0 host with 70 virtual machines
and approx. 25 physical servers. The storage environment consists of EMC Clarion’s CX3-40 and
HP’s MSA1000. Earl holds a bachelor of science in Information technology, a Masters in Information
Assurance and several industry certifications such as Microsoft’s MCSE, Comptia’s A+, N+, and Vmware’s
VCP 3 and 4 certifications. In what little spare time Earl has he spends it with his wife and three children.

Nick Chillscyzn
BIO: Nick is a Systems Engineer working for a large Healthcare company. Nick is the Vmware administrator for the phoenix market. His passion is for Vmware consolidation of our Data Center. He is a New Jersey native and has been in AZ for 6 years. He has had 15 years of IT experience that spans everything from Help Desk administrator to currently Systems Engineer. He loves the outdoors and watching his sports teams when they come to town. He also enjoys spending time with his family and two dogs. He has a huge enthusiasm for participating in Groups such as this one to expand his knowledge and share knowledge with others.
Current Environment: Virtualization environment VMware , 15 ESX/ESXi hosts, 200 VM’s, EMC CX4-240,CX320 SAN, Dell R710, Quest VWorkspace Virtual Desktop environment.

Adam Baum
BIO:Adam recently transitioned from being an infrastructure IT Architect for the City of Mesa to Program Manager at VCE. He is now responsible for ensuring that VCE is first-to-market in supporting new VMware products. Adam has been in IT for over 20yrs. He started out as a bench tech in a retail environment and then went to work for Ziff-Davis Labs (testing arm of PC Magazine and many other ZD publications). After spending a few years working in Silicon Valley, Adam joined the corporate side of IT and then eventually joined the public sector, where he has spent the last 12.5 years.
Over the course of his career, Adam has worked on projects ranging from implementing utility billing systems, 911 call center implementations, data center consolidations, ERP systems, corporate standards & certifications, and more. He’s pretty much worked the gamut of what IT has to offer.
Besides playing with new hardware technologies, Adam enjoys woodworking in his off time. This year, he also plans on taking up a hobby he enjoyed many years ago: observational astronomy.

Jason Schling
BIO: Jason Schling is a Senior System Engineer with the Macerich Company whose primary responsibilities are within Data Protection Services on Net App storage systems. Jason retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years and has worked with many facets of Information Technology including satellite communications to deployed Navy ships and Marine units, IBM mainframe, Digital DEX systems, networking engineering, document management systems, electronic message (before email), and various leadership and management roles. Previous to Macerich he was a Senior System Analyst in the healthcare field providing engineering support for networking infrastructure and UNIX systems responsible for health care billing and financial process, automated lab and XRAY processing activities

Harold Wong
Harold Wong is a Sr. IT Pro Evangelist with Microsoft who has been focused on Private and Public Cloud technologies. In his current role, Harold is also a Chief Technical Evangelist focused on Private Cloud with the US Developer and Platform Evangelism organization. Over that past twelve plus years with Microsoft, Harold has engaged with thousands of IT Professionals working in various sized companies to help them better understand the different infrastructure technologies offered by Microsoft. He has been known for his work with the Unified Communications stack (Exchange and Lync) but has also made a name for himself with Private and Public Cloud. Harold has also taken the time to obtain the following certifications: MCITP Enterprise Administrator, MCITP Server Administrator, MCITP Enterprise Messaging Administrator and currently working on his VCP5 certification.
Outside of work, Harold enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids playing games, watching TV and eating lots of sushi.
